  6. Peggy and Barbara, heard about your book last week and went out B&N)to buy it over the weekend. My daughter is already working on a letter to Michelle Obama asking her to please sign the book so that she can give it as a gift to her teacher - another amazing and inspiring woman - like both of you. Thank you for putting it all together!

  7. Dear Barbara and Peggy,
I apologize before hand for writing you about something personal. I'm purchasing a copy of Go,Tell Michelle this week when I get paid.
I'm a grandmother who has custody of my (5) grandchildren ages 12(female), 9(male),8(female),and twins 6 (females). I work a full time job making less than $15,000.00/yr.I'm also, a full-time student on-line at Strayer University trying to obtain a BS Degree. I'm trying to show my grandkids that they can accomplish all of their dreams with a college degree. I try to empower the girls to strive for the best and not fall for nothing less than a strong educational background. I've seeking any knowledge that you may have to help me on my journey. I realize this was set up for the Book only, please forgive me. I have no other way of getting in touch with any of you.I pray that someone will be be empowered to help me.I'm not asking for a handout, just for information that I can use to help us. Over the years I've written letters to other inflential people who ignored my request. It seems like someone should care about assisting a struggling grandmother requesting information on Scholarships, Grants anyone that can help me achieve my dream. so I can help these little children achieve theirs. I hope to here from you. Again, my apologies for invading this space with my request. By the way my 12 year old grandaughter wrote a letter to the first lady, but we never heard anything from it. I've had custody of these children since July 2001 and March of 2003 with basically very limited help.

    Thank You,
    Cynthia AL-Daqqaq
